《Company introduction》

In Kyoto in 1830,
Hattori Co., Ltd. was founded under the family name of "Iseya Shobei".
Later, in 1885, Tosuke Hattori established the company as a travel goods wholesaler.
Hattori Shoten was established in Kyoto City (Karasuma Bukkoji Sagaru, Shimogyo Ward), and the trade name "Hattori" started at this time.

The connection between Hattori and Toyooka Kaban dates back to 1911 when it was established in Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture (current headquarters).
It all started with the establishment of a purchasing department for Yanagi-gori. In 1945, the head office was moved from Osaka to Toyooka City, and in 1971, Hattori Co., Ltd. was established.

As an environmentally conscious manufacturing, we are making samples with an awareness of reducing the loss rate of materials and reducing cut pieces.

We are working on the production of bags with the desire to deliver products that can be used for a long time to our customers.
In addition, in order to ensure that customers will use our products for a long time, we exchange online in Japan, maintain close contact with each customer, and focus on repair efforts.
When creating our products, we are particular about choosing materials that are environmentally friendly, as well as choosing fabrics that are less likely to deteriorate as we strive to reduce loss through long-term use.
We believe that it is a good opportunity to take on the challenge of new manufacturing and kotozukuri that make use of the technology and know-how that we have cultivated over our history, and we are always taking on new challenges.
We hold study sessions, etc., in order to ensure that you are particular about the specifications when making your selection.
We are also focusing on individual skill improvement factories.

In addition, from the viewpoint of eliminating material loss and in order to appeal to the outside world our high technology, we manufacture "Shogi" and "Hanafuda", which have been played since ancient times in Japan, from leather. Such an approach using leather requires a high level of skill, and also surprises and impresses those who see it.
