Environmental economy

In Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture, which is extremely rich in nature, we aim to achieve both "environmental consideration" and "economic growth."
We are working on various initiatives.

Under the "Toyooka City Environmental and Economic Strategy", we are working on the following five basic pillars.

Promoting Toyooka-style local production for local consumption
Promoting Toyooka-style environment creation agriculture
Develop stork tourism
Promoting the concentration of eco-friendly companies
Promoting the use of natural energy

Specifically, we are making solar cells with state-of-the-art technology,
The production of agricultural products with no or reduced pesticides as a “farming method that nurtures storks,”
We are working to reduce the use of natural energy and waste in various industries.
Also, in 2017, we will make use of the rich nature and offer hands-on ecotourism such as farming.
You can contribute to the stork reintroduction project along with tourism,
We implemented a “contribution type program” and attracted a lot of attention.
In order to pass on the rich nature to the next generation, the city, companies, and citizens have a high interest in environmental considerations.
We voluntarily do what we can in our respective positions.
